Ibsatu Koroma, MSW

Supervisee in Social Work

I’m Ibsatu Koroma, MSW, a Supervisee in Social Work committed to compassionate, client-centered care and mental health advocacy. I earned my Master of Social Work from Walden University, where I strengthened my focus on supporting individuals through life’s most challenging seasons with empathy, dignity, and evidence-informed support.

I have professional experience in geriatric care and counseling services, working closely with individuals and families to address emotional, psychosocial, and mental health needs. This work has shaped my approach to be culturally responsive, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s goals—especially when supporting vulnerable and aging populations.

I am currently working toward my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in Virginia, with the goal of expanding my clinical skills, providing therapeutic services, and making an even greater impact in the mental health field.
